JOURNAL THAT !

Do you have a journal? A journal can be a great resource. Over the years I have kept a journal and have been inspired by what I have documented.

In the early years of our marriage, my husband and I had some fertility concerns. I started documenting our experience and the process. As I was documenting the process, I found myself talking to the child that we had not yet conceived. This journal started to become a huge part of my faith. I am so glad that I did not let my faith waiver at any time. Though sometimes discouraged we pressed on.

After 4 years of a very stressful time we were victorious! As a result of my journaling, I was later able to share the amazing journey with our son.

So write down what your thoughts, experiences, dreams & success. If it doesn't inspire anyone else, it should certainly inspire you.

  1. Again, soooo right on time. I even have the kids journaling, especially the big one b/c he is at "that stage" (a lil too soon for me but nonetheless the voice has deepened and the eyes have shifted towards the ladies, LOL) Anyway, it's also a way for him to say the things he is feeling without being judged. My lil one has a journal as well, it's definitely in code, LOL. But when I flip through it I can see how much he is learning in school and his half words and pictures crack me up. Noooo, I do not read the older one's journal. Me on the other hand, I must get better...GUILTY!! But I do journal after service on Sundays b/c I love to capture how the spirit has moved me at that time! I'm getting there.

  2. I have a journal, but admittedly rarely write in it. I love Nik's idea about having the kids start one now. Thanks Ladies!
