The City of Philadelphia is attacking individuals & businesses, that received a 1099-Miscellaneous form for income earned within their city limits. This applies to both residents & non-residents of the city. In most instances, you are required to file a business privilege tax return and net profits tax return, to report the income. The city is being very aggressive with the collection of this income tax.
